Was It a Wii or a Wii?

It pisses me off to no end that this even needs to be addressed, but for all you rumour-mongers out there, let me help you get your facts straight.

Did Castrocopia give Jason a Wii system? No. It was a game. A gaaaaammmme. One game for use in a pre-existing Wii system. Dunderheads. Retails for $50.00 bucks, but since no one could find one in a retail store we ordered it online for $80.00. Did we end up with more than $80.00 to spend? Yeah. But that's going to happen when you've got over a thousand members on your site. So we got him some gift cards to Amazon and iTunes and a couple silly games like Uno and a Nerf Rocket with the left-over. Big deal. We gave the rest of the money to a friend in need.

Yeah, you never know what those crazy Castrotards will do next. What will it be?

Organizing a food and donation drive for the L.A. Food Bank maybe?
Donating more money to GLOW Ministries in two days' time (following Jason's elimination) than they had received in online donations for the entire previous YEAR?
Oh, yeah. Then there's that little thing about the Castrofans United Service Project, where fans from all his sites got together and donated our time and hard work to nursing homes, homeless shelters, animal shelters, clean up projects and on and on and on in our local communities. Not money. Work. With all of the above supported, encouraged and appreciated by the Castros.

I could go on and name things the fan bases have done to help their own when they've been faced with personal hardships, losses and tragedies, but the fact is that the specifics aren't any of your business.

So if you're going to paint a picture, make sure you're using both sides of the brush, lest you leave the impression that you're some kind of crazy nutjob who's obsessed with other people and what they do. Peace out, Kettles.
