For those that like this sort of thing…

this is the sort of thing you’ll like.

The Dam Nation is having an Idol Tournament.

You know how these go–former Idols are matched, fans vote, and the winners are paired up in the following round and so on, until the winner is chosen. Right now, Jason is matched up with Anthony Federov and the poll is only open until tomorrow morning, so if you want to join in, now’s the time!

AI All-Time Greatest Performance Bracket Tournament!

What’s that, you say? I will let Michael Slezak explain it to you:

Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this. Thankfully, though, readers need not display such unmitigated patience, as today we’re launching the American Idol All-Time Greatest Performance Bracket Tournament, featuring 64 of the most goosebump-inducing, Gospel-hand-inspiring, tear-jerking moments in the 10-season history of Fox’s ubiquitous talent competition.

We’ve split our bracket into four distinct divisions: Power Vocalist/Soul Males; Rock/Country/Alternative Males; Soul/Pop Divas; and Pop/Rock/Country Divas. Every day at 1:00 p.m. ET over the next few weeks, we’ll launch a new set of duels to the death that will have you joyously reliving your favorite Idol moments and tearfully cursing us for making you choose between ‘em.

The contest started back on April 26; they are now up to Day 7. And why am I drawing this to your attention, you ask? Because Jason’s “Hallelujah” is one of the choices today, of course. (No, I am not rolling my eyes.) (Okay, I am.)
