Chart time!

Short Friday, quick post:

That’s the Billboard Christian Songs chart, showing “Only a Mountain” up from #21 last week to #20 this week, on its fifteenth week on the chart. Both America’s Music Charts and AllAccess have the song moving up the Christian song charts as well, with America’s Music Charts showing it moving from #19 last week to #18 this week, and All Access’ 7-day Rolling chart showing a move from #19 last week to #16 this week.

Have a great weekend, all!

Almost forgot the numbers!

Sorry, no time to make pretty pictures when there’s SHOPPING to do (see below), but here’s your weekly numbers roundup:

“Only a Mountain” is #21 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart in its fourteenth week on the chart. And it’s holding steady at #19 on both America’s Music Charts‘ Christian Songs chart and AllAccess’s 7-day rolling Christian songs chart.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled frenzy.

Thanksgiving Proclamation, 1789:

By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor–and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be–That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks […] for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted–for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.

Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.

*If this post seems a bit familiar to you, well done…yep, it’s the same Thanksgiving Day post as last year, with added music. It is now a Copia TRADITION! Which is nothing at all like me being lazy. Happy Thanksgiving!

More from WinterJam 2012!

We have a review from someone who saw the show on Saturday:

After Dara, we get Jason Castro, now this guy, AMAZING voice. Stage presence was awesome and I could have listened to him all night. Really inspirational songs and apparently I did not know, but he was on American Idol, placed 4th in the finalist in season 7 according to wikipedia. His music is labeled as acoustic/folk-pop/contemporary Christian. He played 4 songs and just blew me away honestly.

If you are thinking of going to a WinterJam show, you might like to check out his whole piece.

And we have bootleg from Sunday’s show, thanks to RoseQueen/Grace:
