…and Twitterzens were nice enough to post some photos of the event:
Thanks for sharing, everyone! Now, if there’s any bootleg out there….
If you are not yet familiar with HitPredictor, it’s a site that lets you hear substantial clips from all kinds of new songs (you can pick your favorite categories) and rate them, to help artists and labels judge potential audience responses. For every song you rate, you earn points, which you can redeem for prizes. Right now, one of the songs they have in their jukebox is Jason’s “Changing Colors”, and they want to know what we think about it. So while you are at your computer this weekend cyber-Mondaying (which apparently is now a whole-weekend event), you might want to pop open a window and see if you can oblige them.
By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.
Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor–and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.
Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be–That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks […] for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted–for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.
Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
In case you missed it (as I did….rats) you can catch the replay here…or here (in two parts):
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Jason!

Then hie on over to iTunes, Amazon, or JasonCastroMusic.com and take care of some holiday shopping. (And don’t forget, if you already have Jason’s “Jason Castro” album, you can get a digital EP with just the new songs–something for everyone!)
Thanks to Musiclova for finding this for us!
From Billboard’s Christian Songs chart:
You Are is at #21 in its fourth week on the charts.
…singing “You Are” and chatting a bit:
Thanks for finding this, ohiocastrofan!
Of course, we hope you’ll join us at B.B. King’s in person. But if by some misfortune you cannot make it to New York, you can still join the party at K-LOVE.com, where they will be streaming Jason’s performance live at 9:00 pm EST tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 9).
Be there! (One way or another.)
Thanks for letting us know about this, Jasonized!
